Running a rental fleet in Dubai
Dubai rentals lean towards the month, prices are quoted in dirhams or dollars depending on who you serve, and Arabic and English both matter.
Paperwork that expires
Your phone reminds you a week before each one expires, and the Today screen lists anything expiring in the next 30 days.

Cars operators here run
Toyota Yaris. That one is in the model list.
Not in the list yet, and you can add them: Nissan Sunny, Mitsubishi Attrage, Nissan Patrol.
What tends to go wrong here
- A month-long rental, paid in pieces
- One booking can run for months while money arrives in parts. Record each payment when it lands. What is still owed is worked out from them, and Owed to me lists the oldest first.
- Your currency, per business
- Each business sets its own currency and every figure follows it. A business that quotes in dirhams and one that quotes in dollars can sit under the same sign-in as separate organisations.
- Arabic and English
- The app runs in Arabic, laid out right to left, as well as in English. The booking page your customers see is English only for now.
Ways of renting that fit here
- Monthly and corporate rentals: For monthly and corporate rentals where the money arrives in stages.
- Airport and hotel pickups: For tourist rentals booked by message and delivered to a hotel or the airport.
- Running more than one business: If you run one business in dirhams and another in a different currency.
