Terms

These terms are between you, the business that signs up, and KLABS Ventures LLC, a business based in the United States, in New Mexico, which runs DriveFlow. Questions go to hello@usedriveflow.com.

DriveFlow is software for recording and running a car rental business: your fleet, your rentals, your money, and a booking link you can share with customers. It is an iPhone app with a few web pages for your renters. There is no Android app yet.

We do not rent cars. We do not hold deposits. We do not take payment from your renters: you record the cash and transfers you receive. DriveFlow has no GPS of its own. A renter may send their location once through a link you give them, and that is all.

Rental agreements made in DriveFlow are between you and your renter. We are not a party to them.

A signature captured in the app is an electronic signature with a timestamp. It is not notarised, and we do not present it as proof in any particular country. Whether an electronic signature is enough where you operate is for you to check, as are the licences, insurance and permits your business needs.

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite. Roles decide what each person can do: only an owner can manage billing and staff, and staff can take bookings and payments without seeing the business’s figures. Please do not use DriveFlow to break the law or to interfere with the service.

Every new account starts with 30 days of the Growth plan, free. We do not ask for a card to start it. Nothing you enter during the trial is thrown away when it ends.

There are three plans. Starter covers 10 cars and 3 staff seats, with a booking page, reports and documents. Growth covers 25 cars and 5 staff seats and adds your own branding on the booking page and the assistant. Scale has no limit on cars or staff seats and adds a booking page on your own domain and priority support. Viewer and accountant seats are free on paid plans. Current prices are on the pricing page.

A subscription bought in the iPhone app is bought through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple charges you, and it renews automatically each month or year until you cancel it. Apple handles cancellation and refunds under Apple’s terms. The price shown in the App Store before you confirm is the price you pay, in your own currency, with any local tax Apple adds.

To cancel, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose DriveFlow and tap Cancel Subscription. In the app, More, then Plan, then Manage or cancel in the App Store opens the same place. Cancel at least a day before the renewal date, or Apple will charge for the next period.

A subscription bought on the web is billed by Commas. Web prices are in US dollars. You can cancel a web subscription at any time, and it runs to the end of the period you paid for. A part-used period is not refunded.

If a business ends up with more than one active subscription, the higher plan applies.

If you go over your plan, or move to a smaller one, nothing is deleted. Cars over the limit become read-only and stay searchable and exportable, and any rental already running can always be finished. Archiving a car never deletes the rentals, payments and receipts attached to it.

You can stop at any time. Your records are yours: you can export your money records as a PDF or a CSV from the Money screen.

You can delete your account in the app: More, then Delete my account, then type DELETE to confirm. If you are the only owner and other people still work in the business, hand it over or remove them first. A business where you were the only member is closed, and its records are kept for 7 years and then deleted.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Apple. Cancel it in your App Store settings first, or Apple keeps charging.

If you cannot get into the app, write to hello@usedriveflow.com. We will not hold your books hostage.

We work to keep DriveFlow running, but we cannot promise it will never be down or never make a mistake. To the extent the law allows, DriveFlow is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States. Any dispute is heard in the state or federal courts in Bernalillo County, New Mexico.

When we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so in the app or by email before the change takes effect, with 30 days of notice.
