Running a rental fleet in Cairo
In Cairo cash is the normal way money moves, part payments across a rental are routine, and many fleets include cars leased in from private owners.

Hyundai Accent, Toyota Corolla Altis. These are in the model list.
Not in the list yet, and you can add them: Nissan Sunny, Chevrolet Optra.
What tends to go wrong here
- Cash, in pieces
- Record what actually arrived and how: cash, bank transfer, e-wallet or cheque. What is still owed is worked out from those payments and never typed in twice.
- Cars you lease in
- Mark a car as leased in and enter what you pay the owner each month, and it shows on the car. DriveFlow does not yet take that payment off the car’s kept figure.
Ways of renting that fit here
- Renting out cars you do not own: For cars you lease in from private owners and rent on.
- Monthly and corporate rentals: For long rentals where cash arrives in parts.
