Renting to ride-hailing drivers

For operators renting cars by the week to drivers who work for ride-hailing platforms.

What goes wrong

Weekly rentals to many drivers mean constant small payments, frequent car swaps, and a handful of accounts always slightly behind. The risk is never one big debt. It is thirty small ones that nobody added up.

What DriveFlow does about it

Every balance in one list
Owed to me puts all the small debts in one list, oldest first, with the amount and how long each has been open. Remind starts a WhatsApp message to that driver.
Drivers fill in their own details
Send a driver a link and they enter their own licence, ID and address, with no app to install. You stop copying licence numbers off a card.
Block the ones you will not rent to again
Mark a customer as blocked and you are warned when anyone on your team tries to book them a car.
See which cars sat idle
Money shows how busy each car was and how many car-days sat idle, so a car waiting between drivers shows up as the cost it is.
Staff can take payments without seeing the books
A staff member can create rentals, hand cars over and record payments. Seeing the money screens is a separate role, and roles add up: someone can be both staff and finance. Starter includes 3 staff seats and Growth 5. Viewer seats are free on paid plans.

Where it stops

  • DriveFlow does not collect the weekly payment from anyone.
  • It does not connect to any ride-hailing platform.

Where this is common

  • Kuala Lumpur: If you rent weekly to e-hailing drivers, the owed list is the screen you will open most.
  • Johor Bahru: Weekly rentals to drivers mean many small payments to keep straight.
  • Jakarta: If you rent weekly to drivers, many small balances need one sorted list.
